We only use the highest quality woods like rosewood, ebony, blackwood, mahogany and teak; detailed as follows: ebony for buttons and small details. english sycamore, rosewood or blackwood for the hull. mahogany for the masts. cherrywood on the deck. talauma or jackwood on the deck or water line. canons, muskets, anchors and other tiny details are made of metal (for decoration). sails and rigging lines are made of linen.
